The emerald is accented by a pair of half moon diamonds measuring about 4mm x 3mm, and a pair of marquise diamonds measuring about 3mm x 1.5mm. The emeralds and diamonds are set in platinum. A 14k white gold shank was added later. The total diamond weight is approximately 1/3 carat. The ring is fitted with an arthritic shank which can be replaced with a standard shank if desired.The ring fits a size 5 1/2 finger and weighs 2.2 dwt. It dates from the 1950-60’s.
