1949 British Vintage Benson K9 solid gold rectan Dennison case mechanical watch in good working order

We would like to introduce you to vintage watches from JW Benson, a luxury jewelry store that is a supplier to the British Royal Family.
JW Benson is a long-established watch manufacturer founded in 1847, but after its factory was destroyed in World War I, it became a high-end jewelry store that produced watches using movements from Swiss manufacturers.

This watch has a rectangular case, which is rare for Benson.
The movement is Swiss made, but the case is made of solid K9 gold by Denison Case, a high-end British case manufacturer.
The belt has been replaced with a new open type one.
It is unknown whether it has been overhauled, but the balance wheel is in good condition and ticks along smoothly.

Function: Maintenance history unknown but in good working condition (daily accuracy within 5 minutes)

– Case: There is some wear over time, but it has been well-maintained and is in beautiful condition.
-Case engraving: 9ct gold hallmark on the inside of the case
Dial: There is some dirt, but visibility is not affected.
– Belt: Replaced with a new open type leather belt
Accuracy: Approximately 3 minutes per day when measured with a flat timegrapher
Power reserve: Confirmed from full spring to 44 hours
